hey im noticing that the journal doesnt give you back 100% of your skills. 3 times now i have gotten to lvl2 electrician. transcribed it into the book, then when i die i only get half of level 1 back. this is just an example as it happens to all skills. only say 70 - 80 % of xp is returned. bit annoying.

This is the bonus XP referred to in the mod's sandbox settings. Starting levels are never transcribed - and the bonus XP you earned is by default not recoverable.

So after a bit of digging, what I discovered is in the _SandboxVars.lua, my dedi server is removing SkillRecoveryJournal values in total. I tried copy/paste of them in 3 separate times and restarting the server, then checking the file again, and it would be gone. Full uninstalls of PZ with deleting the Zomboid folder under users. I even grabbed someone else’s Skill Recovery Journal Tooltip.lua and replace mine to no avail. We went ahead and replaced the whole folder as well. For some reason when the server checksum goes through, it always finds that my version of this file doesn’t match the servers. ...I gave him the xp manually using the admin interface but we noticed those points are not being transcribed into the journal.
